Moonday - As diverse as Life - We are four musicians that have been playing music almost all our lives. Two on guitar and vocals, a bass man and a drummer. We play our own home-made music. Our genre is a mixture of Rock, Progrock, Blues,, Funk, Jazz etc. Mostly Rock. Some songs include heavy distortion feedback - some have no distortion and western and classical guitars. We play with other people - e.g. we have Kim Menzer ex Burning Red Ivanhoe on harmonica on two songs. Actually, we don’t really have a genre. We are beyond the stigma of genre, and play anything, as long as it rocks. The band was established in 1982 by Henrik, Flemming, Keld & Peter. Peter died in 2011. We made a sad song about it. In August 2012, another Peter joined the band. The band was named Moonday in 2014. From 2018, all music is distributed on Spotify, iTunes and many other streaming services.
