With influences from progressive rock, contemporary pop and heavy metal Sunset Painters are painting their musical skies. Lead singer Janne Kauppi has gained a lot of studio and live touring experience in many projects including Spiha, Humangod, cover projects and many more. Guitarist Ville Schulz worked with 70s influenced rock band Pure Poetry. Bassist Tatu Hiltunen has been influencing in several bands ranging from prog rock to black and death metal Chaosreach, Self Less, The Lidocaine, Quiet Earth. Tuomas Rajala is a talented, groovy drummer known for bands like Jack Of All Trades and Six Inch. Ville and Tatu were starting Pure Poetry together in 2012 so they were thinking of creating some new music when they both ended up in Helsinki. The plans didn't realize before they met Janne Kauppi in a shady pub on a long night out in Kallio. Surprisingly the grandiose conversations about new glorious project weren't forgotten in the coming morning and Sunset Painters were born. The first single Shadows of the Sun was released in April 2020 and the second Something Beautiful in February 2021. The new single and music video for Something Beautiful gathered more attention from the audience. The emotional song captures the best sides of their talent. The song is a tragic story of losing one’s belief in love. Release of two new singles are scheduled for 2021. No one can anticipate what kind of musical forms the new artistic creations of this creative group will take
